GPS tech experts Garmin are releasing a mini version of their InReach satellite communicator. The mini has 24/7 SOS capability, two-way text messaging, downloadable maps and optional weather forecast all within the palm of your hand. The Mini is available now and retails for $350USD (not including satellite subscription).
Therm-A-Rest NeoAir UberLite Mattress:
Therm-A-Rest claims that their new NeoAir UberLite Mattress is the lightest insulated air mattress on the market, with the regular size mattress weighing only 8.8oz. This is sure to be a favourite for ultra-light backpackers. The NeoAir UberLite Mattress will be available in spring 2019 in small ($140USD), regular ($180USD) and large ($210USD).
