MARKETING DIRECTOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Director holds ultimate responsibility for the organisation’s marketing activities, including the development, implementation and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.

Duties of the Marketing Director: 

  • Development and implementation of the Brand strategy.
  • Developing and implementing the marketing strategy for new and existing products, supporting both online and retail sales including campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR.
  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships and collaborations for company marketing.
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Ensuring that the marketing objectives and milestones are met.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Manage and improve lead generation and conversion campaigns, measuring results.
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing or a business related field.
  • Proven track record of success in marketing roles or projects

  • Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the company’s market. (Relevant industries: Outdoors & Travel, Food & Beverage, Alcohol/Cocktail, Gifting)
  • Confident, self-driven and dynamic leader.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities. 
  • Experience with E-commerce
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strong creative outlook
  • Experience with product based companies an asset
  • Graphic design knowledge and experience. (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • SEO Skills
  • Bilingual (French & English)

SALES MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Sales Manager will be managing all sales activities for the business and will be responsible for building relationships with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients while achieving high sales targets. 

Duties of the Sales Manager

  • Responsible for managing several accounts and often being the face of the company to many clients.
  • Achieving high sales growth targets and goals.
  • Reporting on progress towards sales KPI’s.
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
  • Seeking opportunities for business development within a defined area or sector.
  • Chasing leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales.
  • Cold calling potential customers and selling the company’s products.
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
  • Attending Tradeshows, industry conferences and events.
